Therapy Practitioner

If you’re looking for someone to help you navigate anxiety, low mood, trauma, or emotional overwhelm, working with a qualified therapy practitioner can be a transformative first step. I’m Laura, a therapy practitioner based in Herefordshire, offering calm, one-to-one support in person, online, and by phone.

My approach is gentle, practical, and informed by neuroscience—designed to help you feel safe, seen, and supported as you begin to make sense of what’s going on.

What Does a Therapy Practitioner Do?

As a therapy practitioner, I provide a space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings and experiences—without judgement. Together, we explore what’s holding you back and find ways to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

You don’t need to have a diagnosis or a “big” reason to reach out. Many of the people I work with simply know that something doesn’t feel right—and that’s reason enough to seek support.

My role is to:

  • Help you process difficult emotions and life events

  • Provide tools to manage anxiety, low mood and stress

  • Work with you to shift patterns that no longer serve you

  • Support your confidence, boundaries and emotional wellbeing

  • Help you feel more in control of your thoughts, choices and life

What I Can Help With

As a trauma-informed therapy practitioner, I work with adults facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including:

  • Anxiety, panic attacks and constant worry

  • Low mood, depression and emotional numbness

  • Trauma, PTSD and distressing memories

  • Stress, burnout and overwhelm

  • Confidence, self-esteem and inner critic issues

  • Phobias, fears and limiting beliefs

  • Feeling stuck, lost or disconnected

You’ll be met with empathy, professionalism, and a clear plan—tailored to your needs.

Sessions That Fit Around Your Life

As a flexible therapy practitioner, I offer:

  • In-person sessions in Herefordshire

  • Online therapy via Zoom

  • Telephone therapy if you prefer voice-only contact

Whatever format feels most accessible and comfortable for you, I’ll meet you there.

“Just a little message to say a huge thank you. I certainly would not be where I am without having you to get me back on track”. (Read more on the Testimonials page.)
